EQUINE PHYSIOTHERAPIST
About Us
Equimotion is an equine and human physiotherapy provider. Our purpose is to provide scientifically proven solutions that help to facilitate injury prevention, recovery and improved performance for both horse and rider, encouraging riders and owners to be active partners in the management and rehabilitation process.
With business increasing we are looking for an equine physiotherapist to join our supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing high quality care for our clients.
The position can be on a contract or employed part-time basis and will require travel to client stables/facilities - we service the Greater Sydney area, Central Coast and Southern Highlands.
About You
We are looking for a physiotherapist who has a good working knowledge of and experience in equine physiotherapy. This experience may come from work within the performance horse or racing industries.
The successful candidate will have strong communication, time management and organisational skills, along with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with other veterinary and equine professionals.
Ongoing training and support will be provided to further develop your skills and broaden your expertise in physiotherapy assessment, biomechanics, manual therapy and exercise prescription within the specialist field of equine physiotherapy.

- Equine physiotherapy assessment and treatment for performance and racehorse
- Equine biomechanics and gait analysis
- Assisting with the development of content for EQ Active exercise library
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Needed:
- Veterinary / Animal Physiotherapy post-graduate qualification
- Human Physiotherapy degree preferred
- Insurance coverage for working with both performance and racehorses
- Experience in working with and handling horses is essential
