Tactile bracelets work to increase flexion of the hindlimb during the swing phase at the stifle, hock, fetlock and pastern joints, along with an increase in muscle activation at the hock joint for short durations.
They may be useful in horses where you wish to improve flexion range of motion, reduce toe drag, improve hoof placement and proprioception.
In the forelimbs they work to increase flexion of the joints, and may assist in decreasing tripping and improving awareness of hoof placement.
Our Tactile Bracelets are made from high quality leather and stainless steel and have a quick release function for safe and fast removal. Each bracelet weighs 87g. The Tactile Bracelets are easy to modify, allowing you to simply remove or add chains as required. The Tactile Bracelets are sold as a pair and come with 5 chains per bracelet. They come with adjustable sizing, to enable you to get the best fit for your horse.
